The Schuylerville Community Theater (SCT) offers a monetary scholarship each year to a deserving high school senior who will graduate in June from a school in Saratoga, Warren or Washington Counties. Applicants for this SCT Vicki K. Wolfe Scholarship must be entering an accredited college (either 2 year or 4 year) in the Fall and be majoring in Music, Dance, Drama or Theater Arts. They will be judged by a panel on the demonstration of the talent and skill in their art field as well as an interview. Those who apply are also eligible for three additional Memorial Scholarships in memory of SCT members: Sharon Festo, Katherine Hopkins and Ted Shuster. In addition to the above scholarships, there is a one-time scholarship being awarded in June of 2018 in memory of Bryon McKim.
SCT has been offering quality theater productions to the surrounding communities for 37 years. One focus of the group is to foster the love and interest in the arts through the scholarship fund. To date, over $40,000 has been awarded to seniors moving on to the world of the arts.

SCT AWARDS SCHOLARSHIP MONIES TO DESERVING SENIORS
The following SCT Scholarship awards for 2017 are:
The $500 SCT Vickie K. Wolfe Memorial Scholarship has been awarded to Lydia Martin, daughter of Julia and Rick Martin of Victory Mills. Upon graduation from Schuylerville High School, Lydia will pursue a Music Education degree from the University of Hartford.
The Sharon R. Festo Memorial Scholarship in the amount of $500 has been awarded to Matthew Boyce of Saratoga Springs, son of Glen and Bonnie Boyce. Matthew has chosen to attend the College of Saint Rose seeking a degree in Music Industry.
Isaiah Evans, has been awarded the $500 Katherine R. Hopkins Memorial Scholarship. Isaiah, who will be graduating from Burnt Hills/Ballston Lake High School. Isaiah, son of Scott and Stephanie Evans will study Composition for Musical Theater at Berklee College of Music.
The $500 Edward “Ted” Shuster Memorial Scholarship has been awarded to Tyler Talmage, son of William and Lisa Talmage of Glens Falls . Tyler will attend the American Musical and Drama Academy in an Integrated Conservatory course of study to further his dreams of becoming a professional performer.
